Universal Pre-Kindergarten

In the 2025-2026 school year, Carmel Central School District will offer a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for children who live within the school district boundaries. To qualify, a child must be four years old by December 1, 2025.  

The district will hold three information sessions for those who are interested in finding out more about the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for 2025-2026 school year. There is no need to attend more than one session. 

Each session will present information on:

• The timeline of the program
• The registration process
• A presentation from the childcare providers
• A question-and-answer session

The Information Sessions are scheduled as follows:

• Friday, February 28, 2025, 7 - 8 p.m., District Office, 81 South Street, Patterson
• Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 7 - 8 p.m., Kent Elementary School
• Thursday, April 24, 2025, 7 - 8 p.m., Matthew Patterson Elementary School
